Wow, what a great and more recently, strange 12 years it has been. Global Office Supplies began business with a 2-man team and has grown to an unbelievable level with 3 office locations and 30+ staff.
Seeing through 12 years of business is such a great achievement and it's rewarding to see businesses understand the benefits of using our
services and the great
eco-friendly and recycled products we have to offer. Our motto of '
The green choice for your office' runs through the core of our business and really does make us a great way to reduce your carbon footprint on office supplies, furniture and clothing.
Below is a message from the Founder/Managing Director Michael Girton on his thoughts on the success of the business to date.
"Global Office Supplies are officially 12 years old! The years have flown by, a business i started as a young man, and now I’m an old man lol! I'm still loving it with the same passion as if it was our first day.
This past year has been the most stressful and challenging by far, but the most exciting and rewarding all rolled into one.
The Global Team pushed through it, we worked together to overcome challenges, adapted to the sudden change in markets and now we have won an Award due to our customer service and growth.
Very proud of all our great team, it’s a pleasure to watch us all grow as we learn, develop and break industry barriers year on year, thanks for all the support from our family and friends that supported us through the years into the company we are today.
Many more years to come and some big exciting news coming soon, including moving into our brand new Global HQ.

First of all, we'd like to say thank you to all our customers, we know this has been a difficult time and the pandemic has been tough for a lot of businesses. With staff now returning to workplaces, we are rapidly seeing people, businesses and the economy returning to how things were pre-covid. As always, we have been here to support the needs of our customers and will continue to do so moving forward.
Innovation
As with any business, knowing how to adapt and evolve with technology as it advances is key. Global Office Supplies is continually looking to improve the service we can offer, whether that's via improvements to our internal order systems, eCommerce websites or order integration for larger business via our Punchout/eProcurement systems.
We thrive on innovation within technology and our industries, always be looking to see how we can introduce these improvements to the customer.
Another Award To Add To The Growing List
A slightly strange award for a well established business, but we are still proud to win the 'New Dealer of the Year 2021' award when he had to suddenly move over to our new Buying Group just before the pandemic struck. With over 70 business’ shortlisted, we know we had a battle on our hands and it’s great to see all of that hard work during a difficult time pay off. Well done Global Team!!
Time To Celebrate
Not that we ever need an excuse to socialise and party as a business, but with everyone being safe during the lock down and social distancing taking its toll on everyone’s mental health, we decided it was now time to take everyone out to Bounce in London. Time to party and get back to a little normality. There we took part in many games of Table Tennis, Shuffleboard and Beer/Cider Pong.
So What's Next?
The end of 2021 and 2022 onward is looking to be a fantastic and busy time for us. Let’s just say there are going to be a few big changes to the business.
Firstly, due to our continued growth, we will be combining our Essex and Bexleyheath offices and moving into our newly renovated penthouse floor at the new office location on the Crossways Business Park, Dartford. More on this move to follow….
Secondly, with the expansion on space and teams, Global Office Supplies will now be part of Global Group. The group will comprise of 6 new brands that will focus directly on supporting customers’ needs for Office Supplies, Office Interiors, Industrial Supplies, Workwear, Branded Merchandise and Educational Supplies.
The new brand separation is going to be great news for all of our existing and new customers as there will be dedicated teams with years of industry knowledge to help recommend the right products for your needs.
Here's to 2022 and the future of Global Group.
